OUR PASSION IS
We believe in being the change we want to see.
POSITIVITY IS AT THE CORE OF EVERYTHING WE DO.
It feels good to look good! That's why we devote a ton of time to curating pieces that deliver in style and quality. Seeing your confidence soar as you compliment your spirit with our fashion - that's Piecin' Love - but it doesn't stop there. We've much more love to piece! Once we've put a smile on your face and a watch on your wrist, we put a quarter of the profits into uplifting those who need it most. Each month we contribute to a different organization supporting the ideas of equality, justice, and sustainability for all. And to top, all along the way we're providing the freshest content to raise awareness of social issues and engagement in social change. How's that for style and grace?
A QUARTER TO MORE
We donate 25% of our profits to a different organization each month - organizations who share our vision of a better world.
EQUALITY, JUSTICE, SUSTAINABILITY - FOR ALL!
WE'RE ON A MISSION TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
We believe that every living person is entitled to certain inalienable rights and we're here to stand for those rights where we see them being challenged or, in many cases, outright violated. We believe that we're currently technologically advanced enough to ensure every human being a high quality of life, including quality food, housing, education, and healthcare, as well as peace, freedom, justice, and opportunity. We believe these to be unconditional rights of all human beings, regardless of anything - including, but not limited to, income level, race, ethnicity, country of origin, cultural identity, sexual orientation, gender identity, ableness, religion, and philosophical beliefs. Each month we spotlight a different group or organization that fights to protect one or more of these rights, and at the end of the month, we donate 25% of our profits for that month to that organization.
We put an immense amount of effort into researching the groups and causes we support. We love donating to small, hands-on, grassroots movements, as we believe mutual aid and direct action are key, but we would never ostracize larger groups for putting in years of legwork. We do however rely on five different charity trackers for accountability when supporting larger organizations. We'll poll on social media for our customers' opinions and approval, so be sure to interact with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Likewise, you can reach out to us at any time via our contact page. Whether you know of an organization you feel we should stand behind, or have a concern with one we're currently supporting or have previously supported, let us know!
Our goals are simple; to garner awareness of social issues and engagement in social change to progress toward a better world through fashion, art, substantive content, and direct action. We plan to achieve this, with a ton of your help, through our shop, blog, social media channels, and ultimately, we'd love to host our own series of charitable events. We hope you're on board to help us get there!
ONE PIECE AT A TIME!
Who we are, how we got here, and why we do what we do.
"ALL I EVER WANTED WAS BETTER."
I come from a genuinely disadvantageous background. I grew up in a low income, inner city household in Nashville before first entering the State of Tennessee’s custody at 14-years-old, then foster care at 16. My mother a heroin addict, my father an alcoholic, my brother ailed with cerebral palsy, all I ever wanted was better - better for me, better for everyone, better for the world. I’ve always managed to keep my wits about me through my art, creating both musically and visually for literally as long as I can remember. As I’ve grown, now married with two children of my own, I’ve been fortunate to remain resilient enough to ensure that my children have fewer disadvantages than I did as a child. And though we still face many a hardship, our struggles remain minuscule compared to many of our neighbors, near and far. This is why I’ve always been a bit more politically conscious than most, and also why it’s become rather consuming in the past few years, making a few things abundantly clear for me. I, like most of my neighbors, have spent the better part of the past decade devoting the majority of my time and hard work to making someone else rich while I barely scrape by. I need to devote the majority of my time and talents to my own passions: creating and bringing awareness to social injustices, such as these conditions of the working class, and invoking change, in turn making the world a better place. It was with these goals, and my lifelong experience with, and passion for, art - including web design, fashion, branding and marketing - that Piecin' Love was founded. I find this an opportunity to not only create content, but to create change and betterment; an opportunity to not only free myself, but to simultaneously be moving to free so many of my brothers and sisters. My wife, Madison, and I have fully committed to not only taking our own lives back but to fighting to make it easier for each and every one of you to be able to do the same. We hope to have you on our side!
